Commissioned in 2026

Eema Care Centre is a not-for-profit healthcare facility opening in Soroti City, Uganda in 2026, delivering 24/7 essential services including maternity care, emergency treatment, and laboratory diagnostics. A power assessment estimated an average daily load of 45 kWh, but with consumption expected to rise once the facility opens, the system was intentionally sized with extra capacity headroom to keep pace with growing demand.

Their new 50 kWp off-grid solar system, paired with 100 kWh of battery storage, makes Eema Care Centre fully independent of the region's frequent grid instability — giving the facility the reliability it needs to confidently deliver uninterrupted, round-the-clock care from day one.
