Africa International University outgrew its prior solar system. As they expanded, learning was often interrupted by power outages, and energy bills were a significant operational cost.
The 2 new systems now reduce energy costs and support uninterrupted learning across the 50-acre campus. The first 60 kWp grid-tie system covers 73% of their daytime energy needs, ensuring that all learning infrastructure operates and significantly reducing costs.
The 2nd system covers critical load during the day and provides a minimum of 4 hours of backup energy during grid outages.
